Administrative History	Opened in 1895 as a chapel to Millbrook. In 1962 it became a parish church serving the village of Micklehurst (formerly in the parish of Millbrook in the Diocese of Chester, and the parish of Mossley in the Diocese of Manchester). The church closed in 2009, and in 2016 its parish was united with the Lancashire parish of Mossley St. George, in the Diocese of Manchester.
